Daranggiri

 Daranggiri is situated in district Goalpara,Assam. Daranggiri is also known as world largest banana market. The banana market  which opened two day in a week. There also have a Friday Bazar in every week which is also famous for pig market. Daranggiri is also famous for Ganesh temple where at least 2000 tourists and local visitors visit in a year. Daranggiri is also known for there Ashram and for the Rubber Board. Daranggiri have two Hight School and one L.P School which are situated near NH16. Daranggiri is also a part of R.H.A.C.      In Daranggiri every year organized a lottery for Ganesh temple construction. This lottery game organized in October to December month. This lottery game give opportunity to make money to their students and their backwards people. 

    In Daranggiri if you like to eat something delicious then the one and only recommend restaurant is "Miskina". Yes there have four to five hotels and tea stole but there qualities and response are very low. Even if you don't like to eat in "Miskina" then may be the batter option is also a first food stole in front of AGVB. 

  Daranggiri is basically  a tribal area where leaves different type of tribal people like Rabha,Boro,Garo etc. There people also known for bamboo art & craft (বা শিল্প). They represent themselves with farming and bamboo craft. There people are very simple and responsible.
